• 100 Years Zeppelin

    He was known as a pioneer of aeronautics and he was known by its spectacular airships such as the world's first dirigible airship in 1900 LZ 1: Ferdinand Graf von Zeppelin (1838-1917). His technical achievements were milestones in the history of flight, the time were unrivaled. Between 1900 and 1938, designed by him ZEPPELIN GmbH founded in 1909, more than 100 airships in 27 different versions. The dimensions of these airships were enormous for those days: the 'LZ 129' of 1938 had a length of 245 meters, a diameter of 41.2 meters and a volume of 200,000 m3.
